And afterwards it was shown for years in all the old age homes all over the country and as well in Germany and Austria. Everybody wanted to know how couples between 70 and 80 got to know each other and fell in love. Especially the story of Anna who did not know a man for 40 years and found a new happyness with Hans plucked everybody’s heartstrings. Even now the film ist still a longseller.
